We’ve recently talked about how dangerous and distracting looking at other people’s stories can be.
Comparison can set in.
It can distract you.
It can lie to you about what is really real.
It can send you into a spiral of needing to be or do just as they do.
BUT IT DOESN’T HAVE TO.
You can also look at them as inspiration.
Seeing their success as a wonderful message that success happens to the people you know.
And that can be wildly inspirational and uplifting.
This is your quick reminder to look for inspiration when you can.
Look at the stories of successful people who are reaching the heights that you desire.
Enjoy their stories. Cheer them on. Honor how far they’ve come.
You get to enjoy this too.
Often when you are trying to make things work, we can forget that there are people who have navigated these paths or similar paths before.
Cheering on someone who is super successful reminds you that your next level possible for you too.
This is particularly true when they are stories of other women.
Take some time and look for the success stories.
Cheer them on. Unite with them on their journey–whether it is like your journey or not.
Remind yourself that they started at the beginning and middle stages, too, just like you.
And that success as you envision it is for YOU too.
You are worthy and deserving.
And you really can have your desires.
I believe in you.
